Today I thought I would make a food type blog post. What I'm going to make is a bagel with Nutella and banana. It is pretty self explanatory on how to make it, but if you want to see how I do it then keep reading!
Step 1)
- First thing I do is choose the bagel I want. I went for these Cinnamon raisin bagel because they are my favorite.
**Note: that these aren't anything special bagel just good old fashion ones and you can use any type of bagel you wish.
- Set your toaster to whatever temperature you like and put them in. I personal don't like the pre-set bagel setting so I just turn the dial to just above the #2 setting. Doing this, on my toaster, leaves it warm and just a little firm, not to crunchy or crispy.
Step 3)
- While the bagel is toasting, I like to go and get my spread that I'm going to be putting on the bagel. I have chosen Nutella because....its Nutella and it's flipping AMAZING! :P
Step 4)
- Once they have toasted just take them out and put them on a plate. (and yea I know I'm using a Pocahontas plate, but I like to use this plate because its not our nice plates so if I drop it, it won't brake, which has happened before.)
Step 5)
- Don't let the bagel cool down to much because I find that when you put Nutella on a warm bagel it spreads easier and kind of melts into it just a bit.
Step 6)
- I don't always do this step, mainly because we usually don't have bananas in our house, but I bought some the other day and thought i'd add them to the bagel. All you need to do is cut them up and add them on-top on the Nutella.
Step 7)
- Just put the bananas on the bagel, like you see in the picture.
**Note: If you want to make your bagel to look a bit more fancy and dressed up (or you are craving lots of Nutella like I was) you can add a bit of it on top of the bananas.
And there you go! Just a very nice and easy way to make a Nutella and banana bagel. I usually have this as an after school snack, but since its summer i'll have this for really any meal/snack.
---I hope you enjoyed this little food post, Also don't be afraid to leave a comment if you tried it and tell me if you liked it or what changes you would make :)
